FREE Afterschool Art Program for TEENS with the City College of New York

Creative Arts Workshops for Kids is pleased to collaborate with City College of New York to offer a free afterschool art program.

Over the course of 12 weeks, participants will investigate multiple ways to make art, from printmaking and drawing to sculpture and interactive art.  They will explore different approaches to creating art and build a portfolio with practicing artists from City College of New York. Final collaborative works will be publicly exhibited.

City Art Lab classes are free, and all art supplies are provided. All New York City high school students are welcome to apply.  There is no need for previous art experience-beginners are welcome!  

Class Schedule:
Date: Wednesdays, February 8 - May 9, 2012
Time: 4:20 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.  
Location: Art Department at City College (Room 303E Shepard Hall) at 160 Convent Avenue and 140th Street.  

Participants must be able to attend every session.
