Harlem CDC & Chase Homebuyer and Financial Literacy Workshop Series 2012

Harlem CDC and Chase are sponsoring a four-part first time home buyer and financial literacy workshop series that will help participants to better understand homeownership as part of a broader financial planning strategy and will focus on matters such as money management, credit, the home buying process, understanding what you can afford and qualifying for a loan.

The workshop series will be offered three times in 2012.


Workshop Series I:

Thursday, April 5, 2012: Money Management
This session reviews basic banking, tracking expenses and savings.

Thursday, April 12, 2012: Understanding Credit
This session reviews establishing good credit.

Thursday, April 19, 2012: Home buying Process (part 1)
This session reviews finding an affordable home and obtaining a mortgage.

Thursday, May 3, 2012: Home buying Process (part 2)
This session reviews finding financial assistance and shopping available homes.  

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Light refreshment will be served.
