Hunter College Elementary School Applications Available Online August 20th

Applications for Fall 2013 will be available on Hunter College Elementary School's (HCES) website on August 20, 2012.

HCES is the Kindergarten through sixth grade laboratory school of the City University of New York. The Hunter College High School (HCHS) is the laboratory school for grades seven through twelve. Together they are the Hunter College Campus Schools, governed by Hunter College. The schools are not affiliated with the New York City Department of Education. Each school has one entry point – Kindergarten for HCES and 7th grade for HCHS.

The only entry point for the Hunter College Elementary School (HCES) is at the Kindergarten level. Each year, 25 girls and 25 boys are admitted to the Kindergarten program. HCES does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, or disability.

All applicants must meet the age and residency requirements. For the 2012-2013 year, the school will test and admit only children born in 2008 and only Manhattan residents may apply.
