Hunter College High School Open House for Minority Students

Hunter High School is having an open house for under-represented minority students on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.  

Hunter College High School (HCHS),a part of the Hunter College Campus Schools, is the laboratory school of the City University of New York administered by Hunter College.  The only entry years at Hunter College Campus Schools are Kindergarten for the Elementary School (only District 2) and Seventh Grade for the High School (all of New York City).

The Open House is to introduce the school to under-represented families, African-American and Latino families in particular, whose children are now in 2nd to 5th grades.  Entry to the high school takes place in 7th grade.  

Please note that this is an outreach event for families of color and not an information session for the 2013 school year.

The Open House will include:
  • Meeting students and teachers
  • Touring the School
  • Experiencing a class
