PreK and Kindergarten NYC Listserv
Columbia University’s Office of Work/Life is pleased to provide the PreKandKindergartenNYC listserv (“the “Listserv”) as an electronic information service created especially for Columbia families, including those who are not yet living in New York City, with children who will be attending PreKindergarten and Kindergarten in a New York City public, parochial or independent school in 2013-2014. By sharing information with parents, we help to support the success of Columbia families as they address the concerns of raising young children in New York City.
Using the PreKandKindergartenNYC Listserv
On the left side of the newsletter, there is a list of resources for your convenience. The important dates will change to reflect any upcoming school and testing deadlines. The links to Columbia School and Child Care Resources will lead you to resources we have created and posted on our website. The links to external resources will take you to other relevant websites in your search for New York schooling and child care.
Please feel free to consult our Office of Work/Life Calendar for a variety of events that might be of interest to families. The Office of Work/Life Bulletin Board is the most appropriate place to post information on items for sale or promotion of services for a large audience.
Remember, too, that the School and Child Care Search Service staff is available for individual consultations with Columbia’s community of faculty, staff and students.
