New Lactation Rooms at CUMC

The Office of Work/Life is pleased to announce the opening of two new lactation rooms on the CUMC campus.   

The room in the Hammer Health Sciences Building is equipped with two Medela Symphony Hospital Grade Pumps, with a refrigerator in the room and a sink nearby.

The room in the Irving Cancer Research Center (ICRC) is equipped with one Medela Symphony Hospital Grade Pump with a refrigerator in the room.  

In addition, the newly-opened School of Nursing building at 560 W. 168th Street, also includes a lactation room with one Medela Symphony Hospital Grade Pump and a refrigerator and sink in the room. 

These rooms, part of the Office of Work/Life’s Breastfeeding Support Program, are accessible to faculty, staff, and students.  Contact the Office of Work/Life for access to lactation rooms on Columbia’s campuses.
