Religiously-Affiliated Schools

Jewish Day Schools

These schools are the main educational institutions that promote traditional Judaism. Depending on the degree of orthodoxy these schools are either single-sex or co-ed. Typically, these schools teach a dual language (English/Hebrew) curriculum. Jewish Day schools can begin as early as 2.5 years old and continue through the university level.

It is important to feel comfortable with the religious community you choose in a day school. Orthodox, Conservative and Reform sectors have different philosophies of education and families should be supportive of the chosen educational environment.
