Two primary purposes of standardized testing are:

Admission Purposes

Standardized tests that are needed for admission to many schools in New York.

Diagnostic Purposes

Standardized evaluations conducted by a mental health professional to determine whether a child or youth has any deficits in their cognitive, emotional/personality, neurological, and academic achievement skills.
