Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a network of specialized services, including short-term counseling, to help you and your household members cope with everyday issues such as stress, relationships, depression, drug and alcohol addiction, and the management of adult/elder care responsibilities, among others. The Office of Work/Life works with the EAP to host free workshops each semester on a variety of topics ranging from adult/elder caregiving and Medicare to stress management. The EAP also provides resources such as life coaching, webinars, and access to retail discounts.

All services are provided by Humana at no cost to you or your family.  Humana's counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 888-673-1153.  The EAP is a confidential service available to faculty, researchers, administrators and staff who are eligible to receive medical benefits from Columbia.
