New York City public elementary schools will host one-day COVID vaccine clinics next week. Children receiving a COVID vaccine at school or other city clinics are eligible for the $100 incentive that has been available to new vaccine recipients getting shots at city-run clinics since late July. There is no charge for the vaccine.
This announcement follows the recent federal emergency approval of the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5 to 11.
