Introduction to Bulletin Board
The Work/Life Bulletin Board is a forum to facilitate the exchange of information among the Columbia University community. This bulletin board can be used to share information, resources, and referrals on any work/life issue that you may choose to discuss. Topics may include, but are not limited to, the following: parenting, caring for an aging loved one, housing and relocation, community resources, etc.
Prior to posting on the bulletin board, you will be asked to read and agree to the terms and conditions and user's "do's and don'ts" so that you are aware of how the board works before you begin using it. Once you read and agree to the terms, you will not be directed to do so each time you access the bulletin board, unless the user terms have been updated. Once you agree to the terms, you will be automatically directed to the bulletin board when accessing the bulletin board link.
Users of the board can post in two ways:
- Create a new post and choose what forum that you would like it to appear under.
- Comment on an existing post by clicking on the forum and topic of interest, and then select "add a comment".
As a courtesy, all Columbia University employees with a UNI are able to invite a friend or family member to have access to view and post on the Work/Life Bulletin Board.
Please note: For Columbia faculty, staff, and students, your default user name for posting on the board is your first name and your uni. If you wish to change your user name to be something different and/or more anonymous, you may choose to modify your user profile.
We hope that you find the bulletin board to be useful and look forward to your feedback.
