Step Into Spring: Digital Step Challenge

It’s time to kick-off spring with some healthy competition.  Throughout the Step into Spring: Digital Step Challenge, you will compete in teams within Facilities and Operations, while competing individually too.  Learn more about the challenge below.  Let’s get stepping, CUFO!

Monday, April 4 – Friday, April 22

Be the team with the highest average total distance. Each team will also be challenged to complete an average mile goal. In addition to the team challenge, all participants will compete to see who will be the highest steppers throughout the challenge. 

Prizes will be awarded at the end of the challenge including winning team raffles, prizes for highest steppers, and more!

 

You can create your MoveSpring account on a computer or by downloading the MoveSpring app to your mobile phone. When prompted, use the organization code CUWELL.

  2. Follow steps to create your MoveSpring account & connect a device. You’ll automatically be added into the challenge!
  3. When registering you will be able to join a team. Click the "join team" button to join your appropriate team based on your role within CUFO.

When registering you will be able to indicate a team that reflects your role within Facilities and Operations. 

  • After joining the challenge use your mobile or web dashboard to find the tab labeled "challenge."
  • Locate your challenge and click the "join team" button to join your appropriate team.

When you sign up for MoveSpring, you connect a wearable device, smartphone, or selected manual entry to track your steps. Here is how to make sure your steps and all other activities count:

  • Remember to sync your data from your device to the app to update your total steps each day. Learn more about syncing here as it varies by the type of device you have.
  • Count other physical activity (e.g.: yoga or biking) towards your step goal by using the activity converter on MoveSpring.
