As we go about our busy season, it is easy to forget to take a few minutes to care for ourselves. While some might view self-care as selfish or indulgent, it is, in fact, a helpful tool for improving our overall well-being. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines self-care as "…what people do for themselves to establish and maintain health, and to prevent and deal with illness." Proper self-care can increase productivity, decrease stress, and improve overall physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Join us as we explore '10-minute' self-care practices and even give one a try. By adding self-care practices as part of your daily routine, you might find yourself not just surviving but thriving this holiday season!
