Demystifying 3-K and Pre-K

February 11, 2020
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
America/New_York
516 W. 112 St., New York, NY 10027
In recent years, the number of Pre-K programs---the tuition-free early education program for New York City 4-year-olds---has grown throughout the city. Beginning in 2018, 3-K (for three-year-olds) was also introduced as an option for some children and their families. This workshop for parents of children born in 2016 & 2017 aims to demystify the process of applying to these NYC early education programs. Applications for the 2020-2021 school year, which are currently in process, will be discussed. Note that families must live within the 5 boroughs of NYC to be eligible for Pre-K and 3K. Presenter: Carolyn Singer, Associate Director, School & Child Care Search Service
