Diverse Family Structures – A Panel Discussion

October 24, 2024
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
America/New_York
Online

While what we define as “family” varies for each of us, caring and supportive families—no matter what they look like or how they were formed—can be central to our well-being.   Although not all loving families need to include children, this panel discussion with Columbia colleagues examines the joys and challenges of diverse families with children – including those who made the decision to become a parent on their own to those who co-parent with a divorced partner or those who share parenting with a same gender partner.  As we seek to affirm our families, it is helpful to hear from others who have walked a similar path.

Whether you are thinking about starting a family, expecting, or already have children, bring your questions, concerns, or stories to share, or join us simply to connect with other Columbia colleagues whose family may be similar to yours.  All are welcome.
