Proper nourishment before, during, and after pregnancy is essential for maternal and infant health. While maintaining a healthy eating practice can be challenging at any stage, it can be particularly challenging as family dynamics change. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, we encourage you to join us to explore the basics of pre- and post-natal nutrition and meal planning tips, and engage in a live cooking demo. You’ll leave with tasty recipes for optimal nourishment and more!

Presenters: Daniela Elazari, RD CDN is the Director of Well-Being in Columbia’s Office of Work/Life and a Registered Dietitian practicing in NYC for over 10 years.  Daniela’s nutrition work focuses on weight management, women’s health and meal planning to support overall well-being.

Pramika Stephen is an MS Candidate at the Institution of Human Nutrition. While she is currently studying the relationship between nutrition and maternal health, Pramika is ultimately pursuing a career in maternal/fetal medicine.
