On the Pulse: Packing a Simple and Nutritious Lunch

Good nutrition at lunch time is essential to power you through the afternoon, however most of us do not have time to prepare an elaborate mid-day meal. In this workshop, you will learn the components of a healthy meal and how to assemble a nutritious lunch within minutes. You’ll leave with three nutrient-dense and tasty recipes featuring plant protein from pulses- beans, peas, lentils, and chickpeas. The session will include a live cooking demo and Q&A with Registered Dietitian, Molly Chanzis.

Presenter: Molly Chanzis, MS, RD, CDN, CDCES is a Registered Dietitian practicing for 10 years. Molly is passionate about making nutrition attainable to all, and believes in sustainable lifestyle changes instead of quick fixes. She likes to focus on what foods and habits to add to your life, instead of taking things away.
