In this one-hour session, participants will be introduced to the powerful technique of EFT Tapping for self-care. We will cover the science and research behind this evidence-based intervention, explaining its history, mechanism, and various applications. Participants will learn the basics of the technique and the Tapping points, and gain an understanding of how it can be integrated into daily practice. You will leave with practical tools to relieve stress, enhance relaxation, and improve sleep.
Dr. Melanie A. Gold is a former professor and current Special Lecturer in Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and in Population & Family Health at the Mailman School of Public Health. She is an osteopathic pediatrician who is board-certified in adolescent medicine and medical acupuncture. She has been conducting research, staff training, and clinical patient care using tapping since 2018.
Michelle Bombacie is the Program Manager for the Integrative Therapies Program within Columbia’s Center for Comprehensive Wellness. She is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist and is the lead acupuncture and integrative medicine supervisor in the pediatric clinic.
