Self-Compassion Meditation Sits - Connecting through a common humanity

April 30, 2020
1:00 PM - 1:30 PM
America/New_York
Online
Living through uncertain times, we are faced with new challenges every day. By offering compassion to ourselves and others, we can bring joy to everyday life. Compassion meditation practices focus on strengthening a sense of connection and caring, attitudes that can be a profound personal resource during unsettling times. Each of these upcoming meditation sits will explore a unique facet of compassion by way of meditation while offering an opportunity to connect with our virtual Columbia community. Those new to meditation, seasoned practitioners, and anyone in between are all welcomed. Instructor: Bornali Basu, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in private practice and on faculty at the NYU Langone School of Medicine. She is dually certified to teach CCT through Stanford School of Medicine’s CCARE and the Compassion Institute.
