The Walk to Wellness 12 Million Steps Challenge starts Monday, April 15, 2019!
Walk to Wellness is returning this spring as a university-wide walking challenge using the mobile app MoveSpring! Join your colleagues for bi-weekly campus walks and continue the fun as you track your steps on other days of the challenge too. Together, all Walk to Wellness participants will work towards a group goal of 12 million steps this semester! That means each of participant will have an individual goal of at least 6,000 steps each day. Your Walk to Wellness group is counting on you, let’s get moving!
Walk to Wellness is a collaboration between the Office of Work/Life, Human Resources, Dodge Fitness Center, and PlusOne. This program is limited to Columbia faculty and staff.
Walk to Wellness Details:
• Dates of 12 Million Steps challenge: Monday, April 15-Friday, May 24, 2019.
• The challenge: Walk 6,000 steps per day.
Details on how to get started on the MoveSpring app will be shared 1 week before the challenge start.
• Instructor-Led Walk Details: Join us for some mid-day steps, deep stretches and more at our bi-weekly, instructor-led Walk to Wellness walks!

Instructor-Led Lunchtime Walk Details:
Kick-Off Walk: Tuesday, April 16, 2019
*Walks continue on Tuesdays/Thursdays until final walk on Thursday, May 23, 2019
