This fall, Barnard College is continuing its STEM Enrichment Club program.
These clubs are available to the children of anyone who works for Barnard College or Columbia University, including part-time and full-time faculty, staff, and TAs. Please note, at this point in time, families are invited to enroll children in more than one club. If the demand becomes too high, enrollment may be limited to one club per child.
These clubs are intended to provide a space for students to deepen their knowledge of science via an interactive, virtual experience in small groups. This enrichment will take place after school October 4-December 13, meeting for 75-90 minutes once a week. Students will have an opportunity to engage in experiential learning about the nature of science, engineering and virtual field trips. The clubs will be planned and facilitated by Barnard College and Columbia University students.
Four different STEM Clubs each week:
•The Explorers (Grades 1-2) -- Mondays, 4:30-5:45 PM
•The Investigators (Grades 3-4) -- Wednesdays, 4:30-5:45 PM
•The Innovators (Grades 5-6) -- Mondays, 4:30-6:00 PM
•The Engineers (Grades 7-8) -- Wednesdays, 4:30-6:00 PM
