Columbia Engineering invites eligible full-time faculty and staff to take advantage of a 50% tuition discount for their dependent children to participate in our Summer High School Academic Program for Engineers (SHAPE).
SHAPE is a pre-college summer program for current high school students to experience being part of the Columbia Engineering community. All courses are taught by Columbia Engineering faculty.
Eligible full-time Columbia University staff or faculty with dependents may receive a 50% discount on the commuter option.
Summer 2025 consists of two 3-week sessions.
-Session 1: July 7 - July 25, 2025 (commuter and residential)
-Session 2: July 28 - August 15, 2025 (commuter)

If your dependent applies, please make sure they indicate your affiliation with Columbia University in the appropriate section. The priority application deadline is December 18th with rolling admission until March 2025.
Applications started before December 18th will have the $50 application fee waived.
