The guest speaker was Paula Span, writer of the New York Times blog The New Old Age and author of "When the Time Comes: Families With Aging Parents Share Their Struggles and Solutions." Paula is also an adjunct professor of Columbia University School of Journalism.
This discussion explored the ways in which care giving has evolved from previous generations and the resulting need to initiate and continue difficult conversations with loved ones.
