WeBop, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s award-winning, early-childhood jazz education program for children and their parents/caregivers, is offering all-new classes during the month of August. Columbia affiliates are eligible for a registration discount.
During the four-week program, children and their caregivers will be immersed in the music and life of the great Dizzy Gillespie; the groundbreaking pianist and composer Mary Lou Williams; and the wonderful and vibrant Tito Puente and his Latin rhythms. All this exciting content will be wrapped up the last week with the support of a live jazz band!
The curriculum is brand new and developed by JALC staff together with early-childhood specialists from Teachers College, Columbia University.
