An Elder Care Conversation

April 27, 2023

Low Library, 535 W. 116 St., New York, NY 10027 Burden Room 206

Each year, millions of Americans provide unpaid care to an older family member or loved one.  That means it is likely that a friend or colleague could be a caregiver—and you may not even know it.  Are you a caregiver or do you anticipate becoming one in the near future?  Are you navigating challenges with an older loved one?  Are you trying to figure out how to make the “best” decisions for everyone involved?  You’re not alone.

Join us for an in-person Elder Care Conversation, facilitated by Lauren Taylor, a Columbia University School of Social Work Senior Lecturer and oral historian with more than 30 years' experience in aging and elder care, and LifeBridge Solutions’ Sheri Samotin, who provides expert guidance to individuals and families facing elder care decisions and transitions.  It will be an opportunity to meet other caregivers at Columbia, hear from the experts, exchange tips and ideas, and gather resources for current challenges.
