Rise & Shine Meditation Series

Meditation teaches us to live more consciously by transporting us into our natural state of being, which is calm. Join us weekly, for a 30-minute practice to foster relaxation, compassion, and focused attention. Each week, we will practice a different style of meditation from various traditions. All levels are welcome. No special equipment required. Dates and meditation practice: Friday, October 23: Mindfulness Friday, October 30: Chakra Visualization Friday, November 6: Mantra Friday, November 13: Loving-Kindness Friday, November 20: Yoga Nidra Instructor: Prerna Bhatia is a meditation teacher, yoga instructor, and wellness educator. A graduate of Columbia University’s Spirituality Mind Body Institute at Teacher’s College, Prerna is an expert on the impact of technology on human psychology, physiology, and spirituality. She also hosts a podcast called Technically Spiritual, where she explores self-inquiry in a digital age.
