Columbia University Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) has released the first ever MOOC (massive open online course) dedicated entirely to the topic of inclusive teaching in higher education.
The MOOC, titled Inclusive Teaching: Supporting All Students in the College Classroom, will go live on EdX on June 26, 2019. This self-paced course is free and open to all.
The course offers an overview of inclusive teaching principles with practical, accessible, and usable strategies that instructors can implement in their classrooms to create and maintain a supportive learning environment for all students. Led by Columbia CTL staff, the course also features several experts who offer strategies and insight from their own research and teaching contexts.
